I tried several bakeries on this block. I need to level up on my latin/mexican pastry game. Coffee is good. The go to for this store is "light and sweet", which means double double in Tim Hortons language, or Starbucks Light pike with splash of cream and sugar. Memorables: Caramel cake in the fridge Chicharroon was excellent Wish my Spanish was better, the ladies were nice and very professional.

Stopped in here for a snack-- empanadas! They have beef, chicken, or Argentina empanadas. I wasn't sure what the Argentina empanadas were but I think they have chicken, spinach, and cheese. I opted for 2 empanadas: the chicken and the beef ones. They were warm and crisp! Satisfying, but I felt like they were a bit smaller than empanadas that I have had at other places. They were still really good and satisfied my empanada craving though. The price of $2.25 each was standard. They also have other Spanish bakery items but I didn't try any. I'm happy that I decided to try this bakery out!

A favorite of staff from Elmhurst Hospital, MiraCali is just delicious. It's a perfect stop for breakfast or a quick bite (maybe several). If you're lucky enough to catch the pandebono fresh out of the oven, you're sure to have an unforgettable treat.

This place has by far the best almojabanas and pan de yuca ever! Not to mention de coffee which is always fresh because they brew it all they long as they are always busy. They open at 6am so it's a nice stop before jumping on the subway. Price is right for the quality. Come over if you want to have a nice peace of heaven on those fresh breads

Came here while doing nothing more than taking a morning walk after schluping down some espresso down the street. What's this, lots of folks sitting inside, I think I'll dive in. Yea, empanadas, that's what I want. Grabbed an empanada Argentine to go, walked a half block, took a bit and stopped. Wow. Another bite. Super wow. Columbian they say. Whatever it is, it was a fantastic and another will be on my menu tomorrow morning. Sometimes it's best to ignore Yelp and just walk in. I didn't regret this.

Open really early, I want to say it's been open on my way to work, and I leave my house before the sun rises when I taught in the Bronx. It is a cute bakery with quick service. I usually grab a coffee with sugar and milk, and it is sooo strong. I love it. The ladies at the front counter make it perfectly. I hope this place is always here. This is how I start my morning y'all. :)

The bake goods are better than any other Colombian bakery around and the staff is very friendly , and the prices are even better.
